Bloom to Screen at Cucalorus!
Congratulations to Elizabeth Miller-Derstine (MFA ’23) and Allison Rieff (MFA ’23) on the official selection of their thesis film, Bloom, to the Cucalorus Film Festival!
Bloom follows four birth workers and the expectant parents they advocate for and questions why a country that advocates for personal freedom limits how parents exercise it in the birthing process
The 30th annual Cucalorus Film Festival will take place November 20-24, 2024 in downtown Wilmington, North Carolina. Bloom will screen on Sunday, November 24th at 1:30 p.m. at Jengo’s Playhouse.
