Rogers Takes Top Honors at PitchFest!

Congratulations to DFP 2nd year student Taylor Rogers for capturing top honors with her pitch of Types in the 12th Annual RiverRun PitchFest competition! Through the personal journey of the filmmaker and by observing the daily challenges others face in their battles with diabetes, Types, takes on the misconceptions and stigmas associated with a disease that one in five Americans don’t even know they have.

The competition featured graduate and undergraduate film students from the DFP, Elon, The University of North Carolina School of the Arts and Appalachian State University.
