Broadcast Debut for DFP Thesis Film!

We are excited to announce that Chicken Soup for the Soil, a Documentary Film Program thesis film directed by Brandon Gaesser (MFA ’21), will make its national premiere on the Pattrn streaming platform on February 24, at 7:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. ET!

Chicken Soup for the Soil follows the journey of the soil beneath our feet and the efforts of North Carolina farmers Suzanne Nelson and Rachel Herrick to rehabilitate it one pasture at a time. But most unique to the film is that the main cast is not entirely human; the soil and livestock are characters as well.
