Pierce’s At the Ready Screens on Southern Circuit Tour

At the Ready, a film produced by Hillary Pierce’s (MFA ‘13) is one of ten films selected for the South Arts 2021-2022 Southern Circuit Tour of Independent Filmmakers.  The tour connects US-based documentary filmmakers with screening partner communities throughout the South to share their work, discuss their process, and engage with audiences.

At the Ready, which premiered in the Documentary Feature category of the 2021 Sundance Film Festival, follows students at Horizon High School in El Paso, Texas  as they train to become police officers and Border Patrol agents.
