Tribeca Debut for Alum Monica Berra

We are looking forward to the world premiere of DFP alum Monica Berra’s (MFA ’16) newest project. A Choice of Weapons: Inspired by Gordon Parks, is slated to debut on June 18 at the prestigious Tribeca Film Festival.

Berra served as producer of the film, which traces the stellar career of iconic portrait photographer and filmmaker Gordon Parks from his days as a staff photographer for LIFE magazine, through his artistic development photographing everyday Americans and fashion and political icons, through his evolution as a novelist and groundbreaking filmmaker.  Tickets for the NYC screening hosted by The Gordon Parks Foundation have sold out, but those not lucky enough to be there in person can still reserve tickets for the virtual screening (starting June 19) here → https://www.tribecafilm.com/…/choice-of-weapons…
