Kirkland Represents DFP at RiverRun PitchFest

We wish Brent Kirkland the best of luck as he represents the DFP in RiverRun’s Virtual Pitch Fest Competition.  Brent is pitching Keghead’s Last Ride, a film that follows a long time beer delivery man as he, and the Reno, Nevada community he serves, reflect on and adapt to his career change. Told through the eyes of a son and his blue-collar dad, Keghead’s Last Ride, explores themes of identity and community as it captures a man and a city in transition.

Pitch Fest is open to graduate and undergraduate student filmmakers currently working on documentary film projects. This year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Pitch Fest will be virtual and will be held prior to the RiverRun International Film Festival (May 6–16, 2021). The winning pitches will be screened at the Festival.
