The Museum of African Diaspora features Negroes with Guns

The Museum of the African Diaspora is launching a new monthly series, The African Diaspora Film Club, with a screening and discussion of Negroes with Gun on Sunday, June 14.  The film, which aired on PBS’s Independent Lens in 2005, was co-directed by DFP Professor Sandy Dickson and University of Florida professor Churchill Roberts.

Dickson will join the conversation moderated by MoAD’s film series curator Cornelius Moore at 8:00 p.m./EST (5:00 p.m./PST). Moore is also the co-director of California Newsreel, which distributes Negroes with Guns.
