Wright Captures 2nd Place PitchFest Honors
Congratulations to Stan Wright (MFA ’18) on bringing home second place honors in the 6th Annual RiverRun PitchFest competition. The second-place finish earned Stan, and co-director Dominic Silva, $250 in prize money to put towards the completion of their thesis film. Aaron Lovett of The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill took home first-place.
The pitch competition featured film students from the DFP, The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, The University of North Carolina School of the Arts and the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. The students pitched their documentary shorts to jurors Amy Schumaker, Jeff Reichert, and Jeremy Workman who provided valuable feedback on pitching techniques and story development.
