Good News Keeps Coming!

What a great week for our DFP students!  We started off with the news that Sana Haq’s film The Other Army is a Student Emmy finalist.  This marks the third year in a row that a DFP film has been nominated for a Student Emmy.

The RiverRun International Film Festival then announced that three films directed by our students will appear in their NC shorts category.  Musickland, co-directed by Cameron Bargerstock and Jacob Rosdail, Songs of Hope, co-directed by Tetiana Karchenko and Safyah Usmani and The Doll Dilemma, directed by Jacob Rosdail, will screen at RiverRun on April 6 and 11.

The week concluded with the news that UnConditional, co-directed by Rhonda Chan Soo, Kelly McKenna and Hanna Teachey will have two screenings in April.  The film is an official selection at the Crossroads Film Festival, April 3-6 and will screen on April 9 as part of he Family Matters event hosted by the University of Arizona’s Institute of LGBT Studies.
